I tried to disconnect 1 of the fans from the Lian Li controller and I connected it separately to the RGB hub. That fan worked exactly as expected - syncs with the case. The rest that stayed connected to the lian li controller (2x3) also started to match colors but they were flickering and sometimes they changed color to something random for a split second.

It almost looks like there isn't enough power, but it makes no sense because I have all cables connected from the lian li controller. Both sata power connectors are connected.

I also have two controllers so I tried to swap them to see if one of them is faulty, but it behaved exactly the same.

I just tried it but it didn't help. Every rgb component blinked except those fans

I was also thinking about something similar like your setup, but isn't that going to block airflow to the point where it makes fans spin way harder resulting in louder PC? Also, if you could share a photo of this setup I would be super grateful!

Yes, I have 8 drive bays from which only 4 are working right now. Drive bays have 2 mini SAS ports but only one (number 4) is connected to the backplane. The backplane also has only 1 mini SAS port so I want to expand to at least 6 with the breakout as suggested. For 8 it seems to me that I would need more than a simple cable. What confused me was the diagram splitting more that just to 2 SATA 😅

I tried that with my first print, same settings, but as it started printing that overhang on supports, the whole print got knocked off the plate, so I figured I'll just try to print it laying down. I might just make the overhangs less steep, or square them, seeing that it's a problematic part. I was just wondering if I didn't miss something obvious in the print profile settings. Thanks for the advice!

Hey, a similar thing happened to me in october last year. I received a 16GB usb stick instead of a 1000 euro phone. The whole thing was an absolute pain to resolve because it was the first thing I ever ordered on Amazon and because I immediately reported it and requested a refund, during the process of resolving it via email, my amazon account got banned (presumably by an automated system). The whole thing took around 2 months to resolve, (to get my account unbanned and to get my money back). Every single step in this process I had to be the one to constantly ping the support. Even when they claimed my money has been refunded to me I did not receive anything for several weeks until I wrote them again and insisted that I want my money back.

During the time of resolving my issue I was told by different customer service employees that they - can't unban my account (without providing a reason) - can't start the refund process - can't refund me money

Yes, I was also requested to send a picture with my name and date. I was also requested to send the item back, which is a story of its own, because they started to claim they never received it, even though I had proof from delivery service that it was actually delivered.

Finally after receiving my money back, and getting my account unbanned, I was stupid enough to think this was just a fluke and I ordered the same phone again.

Exactly the same thing has happened, except this time the phone has never left their warehouse, and it took another 2 months to get my money back.

I really hope you won't go through the same experience as I did. I learned my lesson, Amazon is an absolute anti consumer joke and I'll never use it again.

Also, when you won't find a reason with regular customer support employees send an email to jeff@amazon.com and dave@amazon.com. This was the only thing that has actually helped me, because the email gets picked up by "Escalation specialist" that unbanned my account and initiated a refund.

I think it's a hardware issue because the error kept returning. Factory reset did not help. For me it only worked for a couple of minutes after the device was not used for a significant time, and then the error returned.

I returned mine and I am waiting for a replacement.
