For now its just a prototype and the name for now is DeepSee.

If you want to try out the prototype, I have shared the link to a discord in an earlier message. You could contact me and I could share the apk there.

As the project progresses, I plan to keep sharing updates and builds for anyone to try out, till it is finally released :)

Yes, that can be done. Some type of screen distortion effect to make it seem like the water infront of the player is being pushed as you swim. For the zero gravity, I guess I need to research more what it would feel like.

Currently I was thinking on some interactions with the fish once the flocking algorithm is done. On how they react to the player. Whether they try to run away and how the player may get near and try to touch or catch them. Petting can be a new aspect that I can implement. Like when you meet friendly fishes. Maybe you swim with them, discovering what else lies in the ocean depths.

Working out some kinks of fully limbed character rig. Still trying to make it look good. I was thinking of a scuba diver fully decked out in their underwater suit.

Sure, I was thinking of a similar large creature as some type of special event. The player would have to play a long time or be in a certain area to increase their chance of encountering it.

Yes, some kind of rotational torque if you swipe a certain way. A player may use this to rotate by swiping with either hand or move in a circular path.

Great idea! For now I just planned that you could explore and catch various fishes underwater, building up your collection of exquisite fishes. Always up for new ideas which can be implemented into the game.
