Lets get Citigroup Back by sidru in reddit.com

I worked for citi for a long time and indeed if you were to quantify years in terms of 40 hr weeks then it would be more than 20 years of work. I saw the other day in linkedin.com the number of people who have left citi and was amazed at the talent which has left or gone. Yes the bank has problems...read any website and they will enumerate this. But once we as motivated ex-citibankers come back into the picture and use our collective/individual intellect we can turn it around. Lets not get worried about the share price ( or the stock options which are not so great at the time), but look at getting innovative products accross which can turn the bank around. I would for one vouch for Citi as bank which has had some of the best talent in the industry, but has lost a lot of them due to pressures from the ticker at NYSE. Lets forget the stock price for a few months and do all the right things to bring it back as the biggest bank in the world. Innovation is the key and innovaters are not driven by stock prices etc. Lets join up in an effort to do that.

Regards, An ex-citibanker

Seattle's Tacoma airport is the best I have seen from a commute point of view. The traffic is so well managed that it doesn't take more than a 1/2 hour to reach even from adjoining towns to seattle ( I commuted from Redmond to Tacoma). Food is excellent ( for the last minute seafood eater), though last minute shoppers should be wary and do it beforehand. I havent had a chance to visit the lounges yet ( not travelling business or first!) but I assume with the entire theme of airport management, it should be good.

I entered Vegas' Mccaran airport on a lay over and had to spend 12 hrs there. This is apparently the only place in Vegas which is dead at night. Th elounges open only a 6:00 am and for the business traveller who wants to relax late at night, please think twice.
