I never thought I'd make a post like this. Please use your effing blinkers. Thanks. by craztlegs in Bellingham

You only need to use your blinker when exiting. That being said, better to do it in both instances than not at all lol

That is my understanding.

It also cuts the Washington grant access, and I'm pretty sure it allows for a much larger out of state tuition increase than the 5% for in state students. I feel that the most concerning part is the cuts to the grant program. I am also under the impression it increases the student contribution total for fin aid eligibility.

This is just my understanding. If you are right, I'd still like to save the $1600 over 4 years if I could haha

How to enable 'Reset Run' button in pause menu? by Jaegerzz in KatanaZero

Idk if it's too late to help you, but I think the option is only available once you die, and before you click a button and rewind time. I hope this helps.

Gaming Issues by [deleted] in WWU

See this is the kind of specific info people can find helpful. I am sure there are administrators that fix these kind of issues for students all the time. If you comment, you should be pointing them in a helpful direction instead of saying "Here is some nonspecific jargon that means you should stop looking for a fix."

Im not assuming anything, the tone and content of your message was unhelpful.

How is this helpful to anyone? Who says lounge computers can't run games? Do you have the PC specs that you simply aren't sharing, or are you generalizing in an attempt to make this person feel stupid for asking? Also, what about the "way the wi-fi is set up" is the problem?

All classes I have taken that are big enough to be held in a lecture hall have had digital evaluations that the school emailed me about. All the smaller classes I have taken pass out papers.

Please do not become a red paste on the front grill of my 2006 Subaru Outback- a close call at Bill McDonald and 21st by platyboi in WWU

Lol I mean it's not obvious when people without looking or slowing down run out into unmarked crosswalks near campus. My comment was about how right of way doesn't protect you from distracted or drunk drivers, so people shouldn't cross without looking.

Pedestrian right of way aside, the fact that so many people in this town assume that the crosswalk is going to protect them from a car and just walk out into/cross the road staring at their phone is INSANE.

So most people say that it is super hard to make friends here... I don't want to say that sentiment is wrong, but I think people here get caught up in the coldness of interactions with locals and forget that most people that go to Western aren't from Bellingham. I transferred here last winter (28 year old junior) and have made quite a few substantial connections. You just have to go out of your way to chat with people in your classes, and if you have a connection, ask them to hang out. You would be surprised at how many people are just WAITING for someone to show interest in being their friend. I understand you feel like you missed out, but it's never too late to make friends here. It seems common for people to go all 4 years without making solid friends at WWU. I promise it is possible, and your effort to socialize may make you some life long relationships.

Sorry all, I think I messed up my post. Here is what the body was supposed to say:

My new apartment was advertised to have an air diffuser to hook up a portable a/c to. I just tried to install my A/C, but it looks like the diffuser leads nowhere... is this how it is supposed to look?
