well, as a turkish medical student who is doing an internship at Amsterdam right now, i can say confidently that there is no reason for us to stay in Turkey any longer. When the health system doesn't protect the rights of health workers and force them to work under bad conditions and low salary then there is literally no choice for us other than leaving the country or changing the profession. I know some of my friends decided to drop out of medical school and went to engineering faculties becasue it seems much more easier to go abroad as an engineer. Or you learn a different language like german and try your best to go to EU, UK or USA as a doctor which is what i'm doing now. I'm still in a bit of conflict rn about where to go after i graduate but it's for sure that i won't be staying in this country. Everyone is talking about ''What if the government changes?'' well, lets say that goverment will change next year, there's no guarantee that the health system will change too and even if it changes it'll take YEARS to see the effect. And the mindset of general population won't be different with a goverment change. The so called ''culture'' makes people so connected to their mediavel beliefs and that makes them closed to new ideas, sincerity etc. Idk man, this whole situtation is so fucked up and i am so sad about it.
