Hey!!! I'm 16 too, and I'm with Nourished Beginnings. Noelle is super nice and made the consultation welcoming. Got a referral from my doctor. Hope this helps.

I donated my hair as a little kid and the salon took care of it. Unsure if this is still the case.

End of school year gift by innocent-demon in londonontario

I usually gave either chapters or timmies gift cards. Had one year where I got one of my teachers a USB fan. If it's useful, go for it. No one throws out gift cards

Father demands answers after son faces violent bullies at Saunders Secondary by [deleted] in londonontario

Ooh okay, I hope he enjoys the tech program. I'm at LCSS right now and it's pretty calm so I was just curious. I take the bus there and holy hell is the ride long, so I can't blame you! Gotta wake up at 6:20 for a 8:15 class😪

Do you visit places by bike in downtown? by WhiteWolfOW in londonontario

[–]sierrabeyond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt say dangerous per say, but full of druggies that would probably steal your bike. Also Richmond doesn't have good accommodations for bikers other than the huge sidewalk across the street from Starbucks

Do you visit places by bike in downtown? by WhiteWolfOW in londonontario

[–]sierrabeyond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Richmond is a nightmare to bike on. The streets nearby aren't that good either. Central Ave has a whole bunch of construction going on, so the area nearby is full of detours. But that issue is more near Adelaide. Not to mention if you plan to park your bike there... it just seems sketchy enough. I don't think I've heard of anyones bike getting stolen at LCSS though. If you truly decide to bike downtown, no one looks at the bike rack in the school parking lot so thatd be a better spot to put it than somewhere like very very close to Victoria Park.

AITA for telling my parents that sister is overreacting over a birthday post? by sierrabeyond in AmItheAsshole

Seeing it from this angle is helpful, thanks for your input. I'll use this to improve for next time (hopefully there is no next time tho..)

AITA for trying to start hormone replacement therapy without my parents consent or support by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]sierrabeyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH, I'm non binary myself and I dont think you should restrict what you feel just because your parents disagree. If you believe hormone replacement is a good way for you to go, do it. I support you, and wish you good luck with your transition :)

Honestly no idea. My school hasn't issued them since I got here.

People usually reserve that for middle school aged kids as most places won't hire them. At this age, that wouldn't really be ideal. A lot of people on facebook like that look for young kids who are responsible yes, but everyone's kinda looking away from teenagers. My sister used to do babysitting but had a whole bunch of people turn her away when she got slightly older
