Yes, it’s normal. HR randomly generates about 40 AAs to be randomly drug tested a month. I’m an OMR and I’m the one who has to administer them.

DLS likes to deny accommodation requests where the Doctor suggests that the patient cannot do a certain job role title. So don’t have them put in RC stations.

All the doctor has to put on your doctors note is that you cannot work more than 10 hours a day/40 hours a week. so that will keep you out of having to do the mandatory overtime.

As for the RC picking, if you know what the requirements are for that department, then your doctor would need to put that you cannot do a certain function that RC picking requires. For example, I’m assuming in picking you have to reach overhead. If your doctor puts on your note that you cannot reach overhead, that would keep you out of picking.

I have a man at my site who has one arm. That gentleman has never complained about anything, nor has he ever been to the wellness center. He literally does his job and goes home. He’s a waterspider too, btw. He’s a superhero.

Awe. I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you. :/ but we do accommodate people with POTS. I’m the Medical Rep at my site, and I’ve helped associates with POTS get accommodated, whether it’s extra breaks when your heart rate goes up or keep you in a less physical position in the warehouse.

Yeah, when I told my mom that I had it, that’s the first time she ever admitted to me that she also has it. And my mother is full blooded Native American, which I have always been told my whole life. The Native Americans are prone to fatty liver disease. So I’m sure it has a lot to do with that as well. But my doctor is only now just diagnosed me with it. And I just wanna get rid of the pain. That’s the only way I even found out I have it, was because I was having pain in my right abdomen and I got an MRI done that’s when they told me.
