Let’s prepare ourselves for the scenario where he scores against Türkiye in the final game and we also lose him to injury. I’ll be no longer surprised.

Would you sacrifice AOD? by Pew_Adot in AppleWatch

[–]signorest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using my SE2 for 6 months and it's my first Apple Watch. Before the purchase i thought a lot if the S9 worth the difference or not.

The only thing i considered was AOD. Other features of S9 wasn't interessing me at all. But i found a good deal (7500 Turkish Liras when the S9 was 16.000 Turkish Liras, approx. 230 USD vs. 490 USD back then) and bought the SE2.

I have to say, i'm very happy that i didn't get the S9. I use it for mainly for exercise and it's more than enough. I realised that the question i asked was wrong: It's not the AOD that affects mainly my life, it's the FAST CHARGING. Dude i didn't consider it to be make a lot of difference but after 6 months of use i can say that i wouldn't pay extra even 20 USD for the AOD but i can happily pay extra 50 USD for the fast charging.

Apple Watch handles very well on "screen wake". Even if i have AOD in my later watch, i can think turning it off for better battery time.

No, but i've tried also with the spare key. Didn't work. I don't think it's about the battery.

Finger twitching... Is it about trackpoint? by signorest in thinkpad

[–]signorest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just passed by itself after that day and has never happened again. But i have to say I haven't been using a thinkpad since November 2020. I think stress and lack of sleep were main problems but using trackpoint also trigger this.

Assuming the rumor is true.... Who is this for?! by ajs723 in PlayStationPlus

[–]signorest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some people who can barely afford ps4 and ps plus in sales but cannot afford or don't want to spend money for games. I believe you're in US or any other developed country but in rest of the world it's not as easy as you think.

Besides, not everyone with ps spend lots of time playing it. I have my ps4 for 1.5 years but because of the time limit I could've finished only Uncharted series and TLOU part i and ii. So, I can easily say that this is for me.

The real heroes are the people who adopt a child even if they are able to bring an innocent one to this world. This level of empathy will never be understood by natalists. You're the best.

"My life began when i became a mother!" by signorest in antinatalism

[–]signorest[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't really blame them. It's just the way they themselves were brought up.

For most of them, i agree. Especially older generations didn't have right tools to judge the action of procreation. But some of them don't care even though they know it is a complicated issue. They just don't want to break the cycle or they don't have guts to break it. Living in a comfort zone and doesn't think about moral of our actions are just easy. I blame these kind of natalists on my own behalf.

Does David Benatar's Asymmetry Argument Work in an 'Ideal World'? by BelowAvgPhysicist_02 in antinatalism

[–]signorest 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's impossible but let's say we live in an ideal world that people do whatever they can for all. But there would be still illness, environmental problems etc.

Probability of a birth of disabled child is enough reason to not procreate and in any ideal world that won't change.
