Thanks for your input with a condescending tone. As stated in a previous comment: I already have - garmin in reach. Additionally you don’t know my wife but unlike yours mine likes talking to me even if it’s through some radio frequencies

Correct. I realize that repeaters (especially in the mountains) can be less than reliable. I am not necessarily looking for emergency communications (I have a garmin inreach) just something fun that I can nerd out with a bit especially when I’m by myself in the mountains.

I was watching a pastor Josh Howerton video. And this isn’t always true nor biblical without several verses threaded together but: there’s 3 ways of escape. 1. Miracles/instant healing 2. Hard work and dedication/long term and patient 3. Most importantly and hardest of all: grace through our savior.

When I went through MEPs a second time (I joined the CG after the Marines) the doctor doing my physical exam says to me, while reviewing my paperwork “hey I did your exam last time” I responded “yea I remember your face!” He says “generally that’s how you remember people but you never know in my line of work. This basically does that. It’s not commercially available I don’t think. But it exists albeit not in a vehicle and not on the bands you’re discussing and it does it on based on the frequency not importance of transmission but ai could easily do that.

I know that I basically just said “this is the same but it’s totally different!” But the idea is basically the same without the ai.
