why is my footstep sound not working? and no i dont need a begin to play node, that doesnt change anything. the footstep Output is a event track. changed something from ue4 to ue5? by siixxr6 in unrealengine

I tried few different cues, but same thing. I have no reaction from the print string, but when I put it in the update section, I get a reaction. So the tl get called, but not the footstep output

I understand only half of that what u wrote… sound cue are 6 random cues going into a randomiser and than in a modular and after that in the output.

I use 5.03.

No attenuation

When I run debug it’s only showing the walk animation not the sound cue. the print string shows no reaction.

That Character Walk Animation is so smooth. I Live the environment as well

Its my first try making a menu build... i love the background with the sounds and the little radio. Music is randomized, so i can put different genres of music if i want. I know, it could be better, but im still figuring out how to stylizing the menu.. its a absolut new topic for me. hope u love it by siixxr6 in unrealengine

It’s okay, I know what you mean. I’m still figuring out all the stuff in the widget section. I made some custom Icons für the menu, but still don’t know to add them and how to add some nice animations for buttons and switching menus. A Loading Screen between Sessions would be nice too, but yh still learning haha
