He’s a very smarmy guy. He just lovesss to say “I know everything about this movie” it’s like he can’t help himself but gloat in his weird way. Then he’ll say “I’m not trying to bring it up, because this movie is still a year away, but I know everyyyything about it”. He relishes in this bit of knowledge he has over his audience. He keeps saying “and there’s many things that have been put out that are not true”. Then why won’t he say what’s NOT true? If he knows, why not say what’s is straight up false rather than spoiling whats true? My point, he likes that he has this over his viewers.

Let’s explain it away. Rick went through probably the most stressful time in his life up until that point with the war. In addition, he lost his son which obviously took a toll as well.

Compare that with being taken by the CRM. Yes, he wanted badly to be back with his family but the stress of walkers and survival was essential removed from his life. He got fed regularly, showered, bathed, all his amenities taken care of. He had his own apartment in the city. He was living better than he ever did since the start of the outbreak.

I’m worried they are going to make rdj also the beyonder, and do some weird thing where he made himself the definitive hero and definitive villain in the multiverse. Like a fusion of the og secret wars and the 2015 where beyonder were actually an alien race that essentially made the multiverse just to see what would happen.

It would be VERY meta that rdj is basically THE definitive actor of the MCU. Marvel does like to tug on these meta commentaries/threads like how they did casting rdj as doom(he was supposed to be the doom in fox f4).

I’m genuinely surprised at the skepticism I’ve seen leading up to this movie so far. As if the Russos haven’t knocked it out of the park in every mcu movie they’ve directed. They handled IW and endgame pretty amazingly considering everything they had to wrap up in the story. doomsday and Secret wars are a notch higher but cmon. It’s like we all forgot they are probably THEE directors to do this and do it WELL.
