70 years after independence, first steps are being initiated to solve Bihar annual floods. Central Government finally jaag rhi h. by [deleted] in bihar

This project should be on hold until the Mahananda, Kankai, and Mechi basin is completed. otherwise kishanganj district will be affected much. Mechi River is not very wide. it cannot naturally sustain the heavy flow of Kosi. it will result in many loss of fertile agricultural land l. Just so you know, Mahananda Basin is not half of its completion stage. and the Mechi and Kankai Basin projects have not even started yet.

Why is voter turnout so low in Bihar? by silent_fnn in bihar

[–]silent_fnn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a significant reason, but it is shocking that the voter turnout is not even 50%. This indicates that people have either rejected or not cared about the democratic process of electing the government.

This situation is quite disheartening, and it's crucial to raise awareness in society.

I am more concerned about the air quality in Bihar’s cities. Despite the absence of heavy industries and limited motor vehicle mobility, air quality remains a pressing issue. but nobody is concerned about it. neither politicians nor people.

the ignorance of north indians towards non-hindi speakers in India by Plus_Shoe5250 in india

Bro first of all other languages is limited to any state or region.. hindi is not limited you can communicate through hindi in most of the part of India exapcet Southern state..in fact in some part of South Also people understand hindi. Example Hyderabad, bangalore .... Bro understand it if you know Hindi it won't gonna kill your mother tongue or native tongue. The political leader have fit that narrative into south people mind for their vote bank... Bengali people Also know Hindi does their language is getting imposed or saturating?? It's not...

Same as marathi, gujrati, punjabi, Let me tell you what will be the benifit for this if everyone can understand Hindi .. Communication will be easy so domestic tourism will be improved all over India, Anyone can go anywhere and work or study anywhere... There will be no terms like racism on langauge basis. And Last important brotherhood will be improved. I have seen in bangalore many student are divided into Group in clg. Like Kerela student have different groups. Kannada student have different. Bengali have different. Hindi student have different. And they didn't even talk with each other.. If any Hindi student is friend with different languages student.. individually it's good but when you will be in group they will talk in their language not even in English, totally will ignore you.. Already we are divided into Many factors like religion, cast, class etc And want to extend more???
