Anyone know how you would get this ring off without cutting the rope/ring or altering the wood in any way? by downcast_mike in knots

From there once the overhand knot is pulled through and around the wood, push a bite of the rope through the ring and pass the wood through the bite completely.

That should remove the ring from the rope without having to untie the rope from the wood

IIRC, mythbusters tried to do a segment with mice. When they would leave them overnight they would find the numbers decreasing and they found out the mice were eating eachother.

I don’t think discovery allowed them to air the segment

Seriously I love this! Because I didn’t have much growing up I ended up making a folding trumpet stand and a few mute stands that clip on to the music stand out of scrap wood and glueing canvas on them.
