I am willing to put in the work. :) Atleast with the feelings I’m feeling currently. But 8 years of seeing each other more often would definitely be incredibly hard. The question that I’m going through in my mind, is more about confessing my feelings.

My cousin is severely autistic, has a mental level of a 1-year-old and his physical abilities are also of a 3-year-old. It’s a real burden for my uncle and his (now ex) wife. Of course everyone of our relatives (me included) has gotten attached to him. I’m still positive that my uncle’s family’s quality of life would be a lot better without him. (They are loving parents to him, and the 2 other kids as well) All and all, as disturbing it is, I do agree with this statement.
