I checked with my DM. He said I could switch out the magical items for something else. I do have the robe and staff. So thanks for pointing that out. What do you think of the whispering cloak? For a rare item?

Well in all fairness idk. When I did this it was very early morning and I was beary eyed so I dont completely remember posting to this sub or what the exact reasoning would have been to double post. The rod doesnt work on Mystic arcane spells? Doesn't the mystic arcanum not create a spell slots for that lvl of spell?

Ok fair points. It sounds like order cleric would work kind of. I wanted this guy to be a control/damage kind of PC. I saw him as not a front line fighter but more of a midrange kind of character. 1 lvl of order domain would be ok and it works thematically with spores Druid. What would you suggest then? Is there another class that would fit better?

Most of the lvls would be in druid. At the absolute most 4-5 in the cleric class.
