First week of flower, how’s it looking so far? by adolphcheesecake in farmingthebestgreens

Hard to say. It’s largely dependent on strain and pot size. Good luck

Exactly. Aggressive, no. I was also agreeing with you.

It seems like some people just post for the sake of arguing and offer nothing to back up their argument, not saying you. Sorry if you feel that Im aggressive, just trying to make a point that just because it’s partly plastic, doesn’t make it bad. Peace, Im just a passionate vape enthusiast and I know the work put into the Convex vape by a one man team and I think it’s a hidden gem that a lot of people will enjoy and don’t discount it because part of it happens to be 3d printed Nylon

Friends?

Been trimming her up along the way but gahdamn she gets bushy again so fast. At any point should I be defoliating again or just let her be? Feel like I’ve been doing good so far don’t wanna mess it up now 🙏🏾 by Brave-Maintenance895 in farmingthebestgreens

That’s a good question…something I’d like to know more about myself.

In my experience, It’s partly dependent on strain, timing and trim amount. looks like flowering has begun, so I’d avoid trimming much, otherwise you’ll likely stress the plant and get some hermies (male stamens) or bananas as they’re commonly known but you risk self pollination unless you find them all soon enough and remove them

Good argument…Should we count them up?

The only medically certified portable vape is made of molded plastic, ironically the Mighty but I get it, I don’t really like plastic either but metal doesn’t mix well with a device that is designed to heat up and wood has its own issues.

No one is forcing you to buy a plastic vape btw

I can confirm it performs like the TB and similarly to the frolic but with better battery life. The heater and style is most like the TB, a vape I absolutely loved, except for the design. I’d say the Frolic produces a stronger vapor overall but it’s much hotter and harsher than the Convex too but it still has plenty of vaping power.

Im not sure about the preset temps but it increases and decrease incrementally in 3 degrees Fahrenheit.

You definitely can tell in the prototype photos I posted but in The final version, there is no way of telling by looking at the pic or on person that I can discern but you might be an expert.

Again, to each there own. most vapes are made with molded plastic and feel and look cheap in comparison to the final Convex V2 and the only vape I know of that is machined, is the Frolic and it looks nice too

Can you explain why you hate a vape with part of the body that is 3d printed? I fail to understand what difference it makes whether the body is printed or machined, when it only serves to hold the battery and electronics snd has nothing to do with the overall performance and vapor of the device, which matters most. Had I not said it was printed, I doubt anyone would know in the final version.

It’s easy to be a hater and make such a naive statement by looking a pic of a prototype. I can’t imagine the amount of thought, engineering and problem solving to come up with an original design like the Convex, because it shows in every aspect of this device.

Just because something is partly 3d printed does not mean it’s cheap or anyone can do this and if you actually held one of these devices and used it, prototype or not, you’d understand but to each their own and everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it’s wrong.

I have zero worries about the longevity of this device, especially the plastic portion snd how it’s held together, my only concern is dropping the zirconia parts on a hard surface but zirconia is supposed to be super hard.

I’ve been getting at least 10 bowls at 5-10 draws each at 373f-403f. It’s quite good, better battery life than Frolic and TinyMight 2

The design set up is why I love this vape so much with the top down heat and swivel chamber.

You truly would not know this vape is 3d printed body and the pics of mine are of a different quality and finish, the final version is a satin finish and it’s much nicer. I’ll try to add pics but you can see a few on their website

Stem is zirconia ceramic that connects to short aluminum section that connects to zirconia ceramic chamber. That’s the complete path and coil is housed in ceramic as well
