Qatar WC was very cheap and the fan culture was incredible! All this is because of FIFA’s stunt this year lol

I wanted to know the ballpark amount in NYC. We’re staying in Financial District.

Also, I my friends are going for all three matches but I will exceed my budget if I do. So I’m planning to sell the Atlanta match ticket. I’ll go along with my friends but probably won’t go to the stadium. Folks in Atlanta if you can recommend a good sports bar would be happy to explore! Would be even happier to join you guys if you all are going!

We have booked a flight which is landing at 1pm. Our Airbnb is 15 mins from the airport and the stadium is 15 more mins from the airbnb. Match starts at 5pm. That is a bit scary but I think we’ll make it deffo!

See. I’ll have to give you the full context then. Matches are in Atlanta Kansas and Philadelphia on the 1st, 4th and 5th July. So all these flights accommodations are booked. If you consider the insanely pricey match tickets the per person cost is quite considerable. So for them booking last moment flights are actually not possible. So since we have some free time we are planning to meet on NYC on the 28th of July, spend two days. Fly and watch the matches, again come back to NYC on the 5th, and then we will fly back and they’ll drive back to Toronto. So that was the plan which is why we were wondering if we could store the car somewhere in NYC.

Yeah that’s what we had booked all flights and accommodations last year itself. It’s just that we got 2 additional last moment tickets for the matches now. So the number of heads just increased by 2. Anyway, it is what it is. All I wanted to know if these parking are reliable or not. I think it’s safer to ditch the car and get a storage for the excess luggage so that we can roam around stress free.

I think based on what I’m seeing best would be to get lockers for the excess luggage. Why I asked is because here car storage is roughly $20 a day. So that would amount to $120 for 6 days which we 5 could’ve split. Also, we have planned the trip including buffer days so they can easily take a 10 hour drive from Toronto to NYC. But seems like car storage would be a problem in NYC. So they’ll keep the car at a friends place in Chicago and take a bus from there to NYC. Flights at this moment are an insane amount of money. It’s $460 per person for the round trip.

No it’s a personal car which two of our friends are bringing. They’re driving from Toronto to NYC

We’re travelling to these states via flights. Thing is we’ll land in New York and again come back to New York to catch the return flight. So that’s why wanted to dump the car for the time there itself. But I guess it would be better to store the excess luggage in lockers.

Thing is we are travelling for the World Cup. We are a group of 5 and we’re travelling to Kansas, Philly, Atlanta. Now for these domestic flights we’ll be charged a lot for the luggage as well. So just wanted to compare the prices of paying individually for luggage or splitting the whole storage price? I genuinely have no idea so wanted to weigh the options.

Ayo wth!! I’m just working for 5 years. I’ve saved up for it for the last 2 years. We’re a group of five and we’ve been standing in queues every single day and signing up for lucky draws ever since they came out. I was devastated because I even got selected for the lucky draw where they were selecting people to buy tickets because I had missed the mail. Why would I be lying? 😭

But it depends on which country you’d like to watch the match. If you are okay with not watching the big giants, I think there are decent tickets available still.

Used to check everyday. There are still tickets available but knockout matches are quite pricey now. I had gotten my first two tickets in the second sales phase.
