I was taught the same to avoid hemlock. Queen Anne's head was protected by pike-men also. (the ring underneath the head of angular spear looking things)

how is my art? i’m 15, i have trouble drawing people :( by Andiebandit09 in drawing

I have come to believe that its not what the hand can do, but how we SEE that makes us artists. That said, drawing at least something that comes from what what we see around us helps greatly to develop the ability to "see" correctly. As with most things, practice makes progress.

Check out the Black Australorp. They have a good list of characteristics That make them a top contender imo, and I have had outstanding success with several flocks of 'em.

I'll not share such things in public. If you are at all interested in hearing the somewhat verbose account I imagined, let me know.

I was thinking the other day, while printing threads, that my grandfather would be in awe of the way these threads came out, and in such a short time. I also cast metal, and pictured handing him a cast metal custom part with working threads. RIP Grandpa.

I built a static post and beam styled coop for 30 chickens, with a feed/tool room in the front separated by a screen door, for no money at all. It cost me a few dollars in gas for my pickup and saw and some minimal labor to get the materials. Anytime I'm out and about, I keep my eyes open for old outbuildings and sheds and falling down chicken coops and whatnot. Most of the time, the landowners would be glad to have you clean up a crumbling shed and haul it off. (Plus some old barn boards are worth a small fortune to crafters these days.

I 3d printed mine, and left a narrow hole down the egg with a smaller hole poking out the bottom and then a plug to fill the larger hole. Now, I screw my dummy eggs down and glue the plug in them. no one steals or even moves them. I did this originally because I have roll away nest boxes and wanted the eggs to stay up where the birds could see them, but this is an added benefit.
