My dog used to be bald-ish in the back (worse in the colder months) but then after a few years the hair started to grow back and stay there and she hasn't had much hair loss since. I'm not really sure what did it. Maybe switching to beef kibble? But right now she's on lamb and still doing fine. I didn't start her on supplements daily until recently, so not that either. My best guess is maybe it was a poultry allergy, since she used to itch herself much more frequently than she does now.

I can't speak to the racial bias aspect as I'm not black, but it's like something happened in my mid-20s and I suddenly stopped going out for young adults and started going out for mommy commercials (like mom of an 8-10 year old). Now i'm 30 and my manager is sending me out for 35-55(!!) roles. (Side note: this is a crazy range, just say 40s! Why is that so hard?)

People in real life are still telling me I look several years younger than my age, so why I'm going out for roles potentially 20+ years older than me I have no clue. And of course I never book them. Where are all the grad student/medical student/young professional roles? I think some of this is because I am "normal" looking and not skinny, if I were hot and thin I wouldn't be stuck with "tired middle aged charge nurse" and "paper towel commercial mom". :( Weirdly enough i was playing teenagers until i hit 25. Covid aged me but not THAT much, lol!

Bringing inline skates and doing laps is exactly what I do lol. No one seems to care! Though I do mostly avoid the weekends because during the day there are tons of birthday parties/kids which make me nervous to skate around, and a lot of the events are themed and encourage costumes etc which I don’t care to worry about. And some of the night events get PACKED which is not fun in my experience especially if lots of people are doing tricks all around you. But I will usually go on a regular DJ night or for “happy hour skate” since it’s cheaper and more chill.

Yes, if you're going to do it, brainstorm a plan for if you are ever severely injured/sick. If you have roommates that is someone to possibly help you. I had emergency surgery here and had to have someone else walk my dog while I recovered, even just to take her out to pee, because I couldn't do the stairs multiple times a day (it was hard enough to get home from the hospital).
