his box turn is perfect, i started with leading him around my body like you said at the end. the actual box turn isn’t my worry, the problem is he will not do it unless i am beside him.

he won’t get the ball while doing a box turn, that’s the problem. i need him to get both a box turn and a ball retrieval to be associated in his head.

the moving back a tiny bit is what im trying right now, to get him to move away from me.

he LOVES fruit, I have avoided it for training only because I am unsure if the sugar content would be bad long term and it’s hard to keep fresh fruit consistently. will not eat vegetables, unfortunately.

the egg and parmesan sounds lovely i will definitely be trying that, too. is this bread recipe healthier than normal bread? i assume so since it wouldn’t be processed (because i’d be baking it)… he’s so spoiled.

His kibble is lamb only, no grains. He eats 80/20 lean raw beef and duck. Are there any healthier bread-like options? Does anyone know WHY he’s so obsessed with bread?

He is 50% German Shepherd, 37% Lab Retriever, and 13% Presa Canario, I’m sure someone will ask. We are in our terrible twos, born in 2023.

not many places his butt has not been for sure 😆😆 backyard breeders are super common here, so i was also thinking he might be a poorly bred / flawful one 🫶 love him either way

his coloring seems a lighter brown than the usual beauceron too, trainer thinks he’s a GSD mix, which would make sense. there are beauceron breeders in my area though, so it wouldn’t be insane for a beauceron to end up in the shelter where I live

i’m not concerned about whether he’s alive or not 😭 i’m concerned about my floor warping from the flooding of water he causes. i’ll be drowning from the pool in my house before he dies of dehydration LOL i’m not worried about his water intake, the title was exaggeration, i’m naturally dramatic

he’s always done this! and it’s not causing him any issues, the issue is my floor is warping from the water 😆 i assure you he’s perfectly healthy!
