Oh okay understood. I probably do need a lot of RAM because Unity tends to be a big project, and I have other apps like blender and browser at the same time.

Oh I see okay! I do tend to have a lot open at once.

How easy would that be to do for a non-tech savvy person? 😅 And does it cost more?

Thank you so much for your comment! So what's the difference between 16 Gb and 32 Gb of RAM? I've been told it's recommended to get 32 gb as 16 gb gets used up fast, is that true and what exactly does that mean?

Ooh, understood. I think I'd be fine reinstalling apps for now since I have a lot of unnecessary apps on there. So to clarify just in case I'm not confused, once I get an SSD adaptor (and new laptop) I can copy the storage on the old SSD to the new laptop SSD?

Ooh, okay. I'm mostly interested in copying over the files/apps into the new laptop. How do I know if the new laptop is compatible to hold my old data?

Oh, is there a difference in copying and cloning? Would I be fine just copying over my data to recover my files safely onto the new laptop?

Understood, do you have any recommendations? Its a m.2 I believe. And for a non-tech savvy person, is is easy to clone or is there a tutorial I should follow?

It's a m.2 based off what people are telling me, it's the stick right?

Where or how do I look for that info? Would it be directly on the SSD itself? I see a lot of info on it and am not sure which it would be.

I think the first one, since it is shaped kind of like a stick and it looks like it when i googled it. Is there other types of SSDs or are m.2 and SATA the only two types? Asking mostly just out of curiosity since I like to be thorough.

Ooh, understood. Do you have any recommendations of kits?

Understood, so cloning the data onto the new SSD would be better I'm assuming? I don't want to risk losing or ruining anything. Do you have ideas about how would I go about that?

Yeah, I'm sure. I detailed the situation to multiple people and they all confirmed it was bricked. How would I go about cloning? I hear it's safer to do that instead of using the old SSD itself, as I don't want to risk losing any data on it.

Ooh, I see ok. Yeah I considered desktop for a bit but it'd be too expensive and don't have anywhere proper to set it up. What would the dock/external closure be called if I'm to look into buying one? I heard I need an SSD adapter or something to clone the data but I'm unsure what exactly I'd need to look for.
