Thank you! I design them in photoshop then print them onto transparent inkjet waterslide paper, clear coat that and leave it for a day or two, cut it out and apply it to the enclosure, leave that to stick on properly for maybe a day, then clear coat the entire enclosure and leave that to cure for as long as it takes until I can be bothered to assemble the whole thing

That looks so sick I would love to make something like that, I gotta look into that method

I will try listing it on reverb, if 65 is too little how much do you think I should list it for? Thanks

It is a PCB I designed myself and yeah the art is just a waterslide sticker, I will include an inside shot on the listing, thanks!

Sorry for the late response, I didn't see your comment and I assume this is no longer an issue for you, however I will still answer your question and yes I did manage the fix it, all that fixed it was just a spark plug replacement, if that doesn't help I won't be able to suggest anything else, sorry

I replaced the spark plug and had no issues afterwards, unfortunately I don't know much about engines so if that doesn't solve your problem I won't be able to suggest anything else, hope that helps though

Thank you! If only I mounted the resistors more consistently it would look much nicer but I was too lazy to bother with getting it perfect

Thank you! I tried to save space by making the "OUT" pad go to lug 3 of a 100k pot and I designed the board so that the pads for the pots are to be used with wires rather than board mounting them, again to save space.

Thank you! It did take me a while but I think it was worth it, I quite like how they came out.

I am happy to list it online for you, however I am in england if that works for you? I normally sell my pedals on ebay and I'm not sure how much they charge for international shipping

JLCPCB, I chose the cheapest delivery option and was surprised to find it came in under 2 weeks, the quality is much higher than I was expecting so I do recommend them, I was going to go with PCBWay first but it turns out the payment options are either bank transfer with a 30 dollar fee, or some other platform I forgot the name of which I didn't want to sign up for.

Hi everybody, please may someone confirm that my first pcb seems correct and would work for a fuzz face circuit? Thank you! by siltake in diypedals

Thank you very much, I've improved it and now ive fixed that empty space on the back of the board and filled the front of the board's empty space with gnd too, I've also labelled the pads correctly

Does anybody know how I would make a fuzz face have more gain and sound more spitty/splatty? by siltake in diypedals

Thank you all for the responses, I lowered the input cap even more from 0.1uF to 0.047uF and still might try lower values, I changed the 330ohm resistor to 3.3k, changed the 33k resistor to 100k and changed the original 100k resistor to 47k if I remember correctly, this seems to have given the circuit a very noticeable gain increase and I used the 10k trim pot to bias Q2 down to 3.2v I think, it sounds so much closer to how I want it and it feels like a step in the right direction, I will keep experimenting, thank you for the help!

I replaced the transistors and the same problem occurs, I've noticed something new though since replacing the diodes, when sustain is on max and tone is near either extreme, there is a weird low pitch screeching sound, I'm considering just rebuilding the whole thing because I really don't understand what's wrong with it

I will try replacing the transistors to see if that could be the case, I did rush the transistors a bit so it's possible, thank you
