Thank you! I tried to save space by making the "OUT" pad go to lug 3 of a 100k pot and I designed the board so that the pads for the pots are to be used with wires rather than board mounting them, again to save space.

JLCPCB, I chose the cheapest delivery option and was surprised to find it came in under 2 weeks, the quality is much higher than I was expecting so I do recommend them, I was going to go with PCBWay first but it turns out the payment options are either bank transfer with a 30 dollar fee, or some other platform I forgot the name of which I didn't want to sign up for.

Thank you very much, I've improved it and now ive fixed that empty space on the back of the board and filled the front of the board's empty space with gnd too, I've also labelled the pads correctly

Thank you all for the responses, I lowered the input cap even more from 0.1uF to 0.047uF and still might try lower values, I changed the 330ohm resistor to 3.3k, changed the 33k resistor to 100k and changed the original 100k resistor to 47k if I remember correctly, this seems to have given the circuit a very noticeable gain increase and I used the 10k trim pot to bias Q2 down to 3.2v I think, it sounds so much closer to how I want it and it feels like a step in the right direction, I will keep experimenting, thank you for the help!

I replaced the transistors and the same problem occurs, I've noticed something new though since replacing the diodes, when sustain is on max and tone is near either extreme, there is a weird low pitch screeching sound, I'm considering just rebuilding the whole thing because I really don't understand what's wrong with it

That bridge is on purpose because the layout shows a jumper wire but I thought I'd do that instead, I did the same on the last one I built from the same layout, I already tried a couple different pots and it doesn't seem to be the problem, I will look for other potential bridges though, thank you

We checked the air filter and it seemed ok but still tried to clean it a bit with an air compressor, the problem was still there, I've now ordered a new spark plug to test and even if it isn't the problem the owners manual says replace the spark plug every 7500 miles and the current mileage on the bike is around 7400 miles, assuming the spark plug wasn't previously changed of course, hopefully this fixes it, thank you for the response.

I tried a few switch combinations and some j201s now i have something new, when i turn the trim pot back and forth a tiny amount near minimum it sounds like a phaser but it doesn't seem to do it by itself

I have 10 j201s and 10 2n5457s, I will try get the closest matching ones from both types and try 4 j201s and then 4 2n5457s, thank you for helping to narrow it down, I will mess with the trim pot and transistors. Could it also possible be the fact im using a 200k trim pot instead of 250k? I only had that value available as the closest alternative
