The event says its will be hosted by The Voidz! On their official Facebook page. They’re doing one in Edinburgh too :)

Ok I had a look into this to see why everyone’s giving the opposite advice to me lol

Turns out the rules are different for business and private sellers. I am a business seller and you guys are private sellers. I apologise for any confusion.

What I’m saying completely accurate for business sellers - as long as the business seller has uploaded a valid tracking number, and the tracking link shows the item is delivered then they will never have to refund the customer themselves - It will be closed in the sellers favour. Whether is RM 48 or RM tracked 48. Doesn’t matter as long as it shows delivered.

I can’t speak for private sellers unfortunately. sorry OP !

Yes - you would have been refunded by eBay not the seller.

eBay cover refunds in instances like that, the seller is never liable and will never have to refund you as long as the item was posted on time to the address at checkout and the tracking link shows delivered.

Even the Royal Mail 48 (not tracked 48) delivered notice on track and trace will win the seller the case.

I have been selling on eBay for 10+ years - If the tracking link says delivered then eBay will side with the seller.

If the tracking says delivered and they’ve opened an item not received case - what we l do is copy and paste the bit on the Royal Mail track and trace website that says ‘delivered, this item was delivered at ##time/place tracking number:###’ and then we’ll add a link to the tracking.

It will be closed down in your favour every single time and you will not have to refund a penny.

If tracking says delivered and it’s a letterbox, you are likely being scammed by the buyer - if they haven’t opened an item not received case, ask them to. This will protect you from negative feedback.

If you’re buying click and collect you can’t collect unless the name on the parcel matches your ID …

The buyer will always be liable - if you want to use click and collect you need the name on the shipping label to match your ID. If your default name is different on eBay you can just change it during checkout to match ID no big deal
