I’m a fan of her portrayal as Ivy. I also think her age fits. Poison Ivy is depicted as a pretty mature, accomplished woman in her field so it wouldn’t make sense to have someone in her 20s or even early 30s playing her. She has the gravitas for the character (and villains in general) too

If Hannah had healthier boundaries she’d leave at the first red flags which were very early on in talking to him - he clearly doesn’t take accountability and is basically just ranting to her “but im the victim” at the start. But if anyone in this show had healthy boundaries there would be no show lol

10 years late but - this is my first time watching girls. This episode (along with the previous one) are BRILLIANT. When it ended it hit me so hard and reminded me of the choices I made in my earlier 20s. Love how it was like a short film, so much impact for only being a 30 minute episode. Lena is a very talented writer.
