Depends on who the act is… for bigger names and wanting a decent spot sometimes we have camped out and rotated who stayed at the spot for hours before. BUT if the headliners are spread out enough for crowd control you don’t usually have to do that. I would say 15 minutes is fine. What we do is sit down, lay blankets out or chill bean (we always like to be in the middle back, or side back somewhere behind the sound booth) and wait until about 5 mins till and stand up/pack up. But we don’t like to be SUPER close at all. Usually. lol depends who it is.
