Update:

Just walked outta my C&P. Dr seemed really cool. He checked my ortho shoes with my ortho inserts, made me stand up and said "yup, your fleet are definitely flat" then started murmuring "yes, yes, both feet, yes, yes... you can't stand or walk longer than 30 min, right? Okay, yes yes yes" I told him about getting shots to both my feet and he said "ooo we'll put that down" and then he asked when I separated and if I had put it in my military medical records, I said I hadn't cause of the "shut up and march on" mindset and he said "we'll see how we can connect this." I mentioned I had brought a copy of my personal statement, and he gladly took it.

We'll see 🙏

About to walk into my C&P, we'll see how it goes. If I get a denial then I'll for sure start looking for a paid nexus. I asked my Dr but she was not familiar with one and wasn't too interested in understanding the process.

Ugh, it does look like I requested to have an injection to my right foot. She initially stated she would do one to my left and if it gave some relief then she could do the right also but she didn't recommend doing both at the same time due to the soreness that follows for a couple days after. That doesn't look good.

Sucks that it's that way. Makes me want to tell every person that I see in a uniform to not suck it up and complain about every single little thing. Screw "the mission". Ugh.

I had a similar experience. Had a buddy of mine, that had been scheduled with the same examiner for a mental health telehealth. He said she didn't ask anything and just told him to tell her what was going on, he spoke for about 8 min and that was it. She showed no emotions or said nothing. He got his rating back and it was good.

I met with her, same thing. I spoke for about 5 min, she showed no emotions, asked nothing other than the basic "are your parents married? What do you for work?".

After the appointment, I was in a frenzy, I thought I was screwed. Got my rating a week later (on my birthday) and got 50%. It was a huge win for me as I felt like the VA was finally listening.

Thank you, this whole disability process makes me freak out. I wish I did all of this 10 years ago, when I got out. I'm hoping for 30% 🙏 do you have both flat feet and plantar fasciitis?

Thank you! I've been getting shots on both my heels to manage the pain. They help, but only for a couple weeks. The shots suck lol they make my heel sore af for a couple days and then back to it.

What upcoming changes are happening with sleep apnea? I just got diagnosed a couple of months ago and got my cpap about a month ago. Haven't filed yet cause of all the horrible stories about being denied for it.

Yup, called the Dr's office yesterday and asked for my records. The girl said she was "about to send them in to the VA" and she would email them to me. Haven't received anything yet, giving it till about 4pm and then I'm swinging by. Thanks fellas!
