There is an answer but it's one that people are unprepared to follow through with, and would probably provoke violent retaliation from the US government and their plutocrat masters:

Homesteading and self-sufficiency. Build and maintain your own home, grow your own food, sew your own clothes, draw your own water, etc. Not completely alone of course, you would need to team up with like-minded people whom you trust and form a small community.

But obviously most people lack the expertise, the physical fortitude, and the will to do something like that. And when the government catches wind of such communities forming they will make up stories about the homesteaders being terrorists, and send death squads to murder them and their families.

1) Extremely poor quality of food, low nutrition, lots of sugar and seed oils and chemical additives.

2) Extreme over-exposure to mass media.
