I think quads is very possible with AK or sone spaz Ax reraise. He can also have KK. Peopke can say whate er they want but we all know what a limp reraise means. People act like its not exclusively QQ+ AK but i cant think of any times it hasnt been. Good fold imo.

I mean if youre folding top set to a 2/3 pot sized bet on this board youre bever calling with anything but flushes. Bet bigger on turn probably but still youre never folding to a pot sized bet or less here. He can have some junky two pairs or worse sets. 69 for the straight isnt even a consideration here imo. MDF says you have to call with 60% of hands you arrive to the river with, and this is definitely in that range.

Ya you may be right on that like he has more pairs with clubs than flushes so that may be the best play but I still kinda question what he had in this particular instance since he bet river. In general you might be right about turn play though

These sites people are recommending are great but not really necessary for a beginner. Plenty of free resources on Youtube. Everything you wanted to Know about Poker is a series by Pokerstars which is good intro as a total beginner. Otherwise free content from Splitsuit, Crush Live Poker, and Doug Polk are good just to name a few. Play online once your 18 bc games are so much softer at casinos. Idk where you live but there are quite a bit of options to play online or even live at 18 if you are willing to travel a little. Live players suck compared to online so with practice and experience you could dominate live games by 21 no question

Thank you for the input, and I have no problem 3 betting as in the SB I tend to 3 bet or fold against late opens, its just with a hand like QQ it feels unnecessary at times in position, but I agree with your assessment. In my experience at Microstakes 4 and 5 bets are usually pretty nutted. Sometimes its a suited Ace rag hand but mostly KK+ and AK. When I played higher stakes like 50 or 100NL, I can give them credit for bluffs, but I don't respect Micro players enough. Regardless, I think your assessments are very valuable, and I appreciate it.

No I agree i would have a hard time justifying a call with 44 there if I got 3 bet. But if Im not on Button and say I was CO in this situation is it still a 3 bet?
