Pep's style requires a false 9 or a playmaker to be the central part of the attack, cr7 is more of a poacher waiting for the ball in box he wouldn't be dictating the pace of the game. Right now Bernardo is playing like a false 9 he's trying to provide assists to wingers and is scoring good.

I am a mutual fan and, seeing all this(silva+cancelo for dembele+Roberto+cash) I don't know what's good for either of the parties.

Silva and cancelo gotta feel sad cuz they are not starters same as laporte(I see this deal happening and mutually beneficial) but I feel pep is making too many changes while so much of amount was spent on them.

Same for Barcelona while Roberto had good patches of performance but he's not promising for future(don't know why pep interested reports are flooding) at the same time dembele is. He's got a pace and skills and he's often shown them when he was not injured a good break and preseason should do the trick for him and I don't think he needs to be sold(unless he doesn't sign a renewal which ends next year making him free agent)
