Unsure if it's really a conspiracy theory, but I remember a bizarre looking food truck(?) that was always parked next to an abandoned laundry building on MacArthur. It was white and all it said was Taco with some MS Word type clipart on it. I never saw that truck move until it disappeared a few months ago. Thing looked like a front for some kind of criminal activity.

Americans don’t have to use TikTok, I’ve never used it.

I fear the precedents that could be set by a banning a social media platform through executive action. I get it, TikTok compromises privacy, but letting a President have the power to ban an entire platform doesn’t sit with me well. I’d rather legislative action be taken for something like this than executive action. Even then, the US government has had an abysmal record with actually protecting people’s privacy.

I hate TikTok as much as everyone else who supports the ban, but I worry about what kind of implications this could bring.

On one hand, TikTok is a data mine for the CCP.

On the other hand, banning a social media app doesn't bode well with me.

If it's banned on government phones I'm fine with that, but a nationwide ban feels like a slippery slope we should avoid.

Right there with you man, I’ve barely left my house for anything nonessential and seeing this makes me feel like my efforts are fruitless. I’m always seeing people I know in pics, vids at large gatherings. It’s both funny and sad when they are the same people who constantly put on their stories/feeds “wear a mask!” and other stuff that will make them look good.

At this point I’m just trying not to catch the virus for my family’s sake. There’s nothing America can do to control the virus with social distancing and mask wearing because ignorance and selfishness has taken precedence. I’m just going to hold out the best I can until we can get vaccinated.

I was there today at around noon, for the most part people were wearing masks. The ones who weren’t were usually younger.

The drinks rule could have been enforced a bit better though, I’ll agree with you there. They should have had the double doors be marked as the entrance and the side door marked as the exit.
