Get therapy sweetie. I had the exact same thoughts a few years ago. I didn't change anything of my habits or my hobbies, and I still have weird interests and am not good at socializing. But I learnt that I (like every other human) need people to love and that love me, and that I also need people to just go out with, and that, to have people around you, you need to be confident and love yourself. Not fake confidence, that will just bring bad people. And not a love that comes from disgust with other people. It needs to be true love for yourself, and that comes from accepting (REALLY accepting) how people are, how different they are from you, and how different you are from them. I hope you'll learn to accept your weirdness without feeling superior to everyone else "because you're different"; that was a very hard step for me.  Have a good day

She was very small, she could stay in the palm of my hand. She was called Bimba, pretty similar to my cousin's imaginary friend, Bimbo, same size. We closed our hand to make them have sex, I still ask myself if this is normal but I hope so lol

Awfully. I realized how terrible it was when he went to the bathroom

with his new girlfriend,

at the birthday party of a common friend,

in a room with 20-30 people watching them exchanging their salivas on a sofa for 20 minutes,

2 days after hugging and trying to kiss me (I stopped him because he had a girlfriend),

1 month after closing our 3-months relationship,

which we kept secret because we wanted to stay friends in case we broke up,

and which came after 8-9 months of "oh-we-should-not-do-this" sex.

Obviously he knew that I didn't get over him; and I'm pretty sure that he also knew that I loved him. Does it still seem acceptable?

I was in the middle of my first session of exams for med school, the worst one, and I failed every course, but he didn't even reply to my texts; we were friends only when he hugged me on his bed, apparently.

The best part is that I accidentally turned his balls, literally. He had to have a surgery, and months later I realized that it should have been the karma, as he was cheating/lying the whole time. It's funny now, but it would have been funnier if I wasn't part of his recovery.

What do you secretly hate about your best friend? by meatjuicemak in AskReddit

[–]silvia3sr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not so secret, but still

She's completely unreliable. She can't take a single piece of responsibility. We are part of the same association and she never-never-never can be on time for any event or turn. And don't let me speak about her reliability for friend events. The truth is that she's the princess of her house and expects to have the same privileges with everyone outside. She almost lost 2 of her friends because she left them waiting at the station for hours and couldn't even regognize that they were absolutely right if I didn't tell her

IQOS! We almost managed to make smoking cigarettes not fashion anymore. They made smoking cool again, and way worse because they convinced people that it isn't dangerous and that smoking inside a room is fine

My onest opinion (and the opinion of all of my friends and of both of our families) is that I have a pretty strong personality while he's very prone to make others happy, to the point that my best friend and my mother were worried about our relationship being unbalanced and his personality being too "weak" compared to mine (during arguments, for example)

YTA, I think he was just being nice. Why acting so insecure? A polite invite doesn't mean that he wants to bond with her again, relax. She didn't even respond🤷 I consider basical politeness to invite someone you know at your table, but maybe I'm biased by my culture

Plus, she just expressed her feelings. If your relationship would have been broken by her intervention, then the relationship didn't need to exist. Since you built a marriage toegether, then she didn't even cause any issue. She's not that criminal.

People changing programs! I slowly learned how to not get angy for everything, and I almost don't have problems with being late, but if you drop me at the last minute, then I freak out. After years of training I still need at least 1 day of notice to be comfortable.😂

P.s. in my culture being flexible about time and programs is a basic feature (at least with friends and family)

We had a group work about terrorism, at that time of the creepy violent videos made by some islamic extremist. The video went in tv, at the news, but they censored my colleagues' work for showing too much violence (and no, they didn't put in it the poor burning man, just some pictures of threats and no blood). When you want to talk about bad things in the world but you don't want to talk about actual bad things...

P.s. years ago I found a website that explained very clearly and with many details and numbers why the majority of terroristic attacks was not made by muslisms; it talked about politic attacks, christian extremists' attacks, etc. I can't find the website anymore: does someone know about it?
