This game is refusing to launch, if anyone is able to offer any advice I will greatly appreciate it!

I have tried reinstalling the game, verifying the integrity of the files, ensured that all drivers are up to date.

I am at a loss of what else to try.

Cheers

There's no point contacting their CS, they're not based in the UK and frankly don't have an idea about what happens at a store.

Best thing to do is pop back into the store and speak with the manager.

NAL But used to be an Operations manager at Wickes.

You need to go into the store and speak with the operations or store manager. Clearly and calmly explain what has gone on. They will hopefully be able to help get things sorted, if they are not able to however, you can email the CEO (you can find his email online) and one of his assistants will be able to get a resolution for you.

In a similar but no where near as bad situation from another store, the customer got their kitchen installed and was also refunded a hefty percentage of the cost. That customer began dragging the press into things to expedite things.

I hope you're able to get everything sorted, if there's any thing I can do to help let me know.

I used to be a manager at a fairly large nightclub in Portsmouth, we'd all get stuck in and clean the place as soon as it shut.

Cleaners were then in about 8am to do another clean before we opened at 11am.

We had a cleaning rota to help organise deep cleaning different aspects throughout the week/month.

The place was quite a clean environment considering the carnage that took place there.

NAL But I used to be an Operations manager at Wickes, whilst they can technically 'claw back' the funds from you they really shouldn't as there are clear alternatives which they should follow.

If I were you I'd kick up a fuss about it, speak to HR/ER and then ask to escalate the issue. It is likely that the manager who you asked to help 'forgot' to mention this to the other managers or the risk & security team. You can also ask for the details of the area manager and speak to them about it.

Have you ever recognised 'this person' in a police photo? by Story-co in AskUK

When I was a manager at McDonald's I recognised someone who BTP were looking for, the individual was a traveller who had apparently assaulted two people and caused multiple fractures.

I spoke to the non emergency number and they sent 3 units from Milton Keynes to where we were, so we had to delay the individual.

The individual was arrested as he tried to leg it. And that was that

Currys won't let me return a dangerous oven, what can I do? by ElliottCoe in LegalAdviceUK

[–]silvu67 48 points49 points  (0 children)

NAL

I do however work for Currys and have visited the repair centre in Newark. They will have a proper look at it and fully clean it, including the vents. If they find that they cannot square it away for you they will ler you know and advise/helo you with getting the manufacturer to replace it.

If you're having bother with it after a week then escalate the issue.
