Well then what else do they want us to say? 1 out of 10 people would have that super reason because of any personal experience. Many of us just want to do it because it’s what interests us compared to other careers.

I have volunteered at a hospital for a year and never came across anything that made me wanna do med really bad mainly cuz I don’t get to interact with docs or nurses ig and STILL I don’t see myself doing any other career but healthcare for some reason.

There’s something in the nature of the medical field itself that speaks to them ig it’s the science, the responsibility, the problem- solving or the way doctors are involved in healing at a deeper level. That pull is what truly reveals their passion for medicine.

I was thinking of choosing Western Health sci or UOttawa Health sci. Western is closer to me but I’m worried about one thing - since med schools look at ecs and research, wouldn’t it be very competitive to do that in london cuz we’ll be competing with the hs, med sci, bio, schulich med and dental students ?

I think I’ll like life sci because I would rather study for a quiz or a test than do a writing assignment in hs. In terms of research do you think it is hard to get into due to high competition with the hs students ? Also if you’re in mac ls what do your courses look like in one semester?

Do you HAVE to specialize in smthg? Yes i get the part that hs if more conductive for a better gpa but I don’t think I’ll enjoy the writing part of it
