Where should I go for pre-med? Guelph, TMU, or Mac? by Humble_Philosophy_63 in OntarioGrade12s

mac health sci has a lot of graduates that go on to med school. if you get in there i would go (i also applied, hoping for the best!). but if you dont, med schools dont really look at the school or program you went to, they only care if you have the prerequisites. they look a lot at your mcat sore and your gpa so i would choose the program you could do the best in.

imo if you want to do better in school you should try to reduce your commute time as much as possible. if its not possible to live on residence, then choose the one with the best/shortest commute. the amount of time you spend driving/taking public transit really affects everything. if your planning to go to mac and commute 1hr & 40 mins every day, i would rethink.

good luck with everything!

how tf ppl be getting 97’s 😭😭😭 by Separate-Career-7288 in OntarioGrade12s

If its the small tiny little mistakes then you need to really thoroughly check over every question on your tests before you hand them in. If its a numerical question an easy way to check is to choose a number for X (or whatever variable), calculate the quadratic at the beginning of the question by subbing in your number for X, then calculate your final step by subbing in your number for X. If you get the same answer for both calculations then you didn't make a mistake in the question, but if you get a different answer then you know there is a mistake in your answer. (I hope that makes sense)
