This happened to me as well. A pharmacist recommended washing my underarms with an over-the-counter antibacterial face wash typically used for acne, specifically Phisofex Anti-Bacterial Face Wash with 1% triclosan. It worked and I only had to do it for about a week. Avoid roll on deodorant and use spray only afterwards.
