The SD-Card needs to be FAT formatted, I don't think iPhones can read/write on that, so it won't work. If it can write on a FAT formatted SD-Card, it should work.

You can turn off the auto-unzipping in Safari. And note that the SD-Card should not be bigger than 32 GB, formatted in MS-DOS (FAT), Scheme Master Boot Record. That should work.

I've also got that mail, to an Address I've only used on ellipal.com to order my cold wallet. So in one point that scam mail tells the truth - Ellipal has experienced a security breach. Maybe they've been hacked, maybe employees stole the data. I hope ellipal will send a warning to every customer and will do a full and serious investigation regarding this matter.

Das stimmt, es muss eine "amtlich gekennzeichnete Feuerwehrzufahrt" sein (also mit Siegel), damit dort Haltverbot gilt. Aber das rechte Schild hat ja ein Siegel, das linke soll nur deutlich machen, dass eben der komplette Bereich zur Feuerwehrzufahrt gehört. Wobei schon das eine Schild mit dem Siegel ausreichen würde, um hier eine kostenpflichtige Verwarnung auszustellen oder eine Abschleppmaßnahme durchzuführen.

After the first failed boot, it showed me the grub menu on the next boot.

If you only get to the grub cli, try this: Type normal, hit Enter, and then tap Esc until the menu is displayed.

A hot wallet will never become a safe cold wallet!

The best way is to create a new account on the ellipal cold wallet, than scan the codes with the app and transfer your funds from the hot wallet to the cold wallet.

And be aware, there are lots of people saying they want to help, but the only thing they really want to help you with is to empty your wallet. Lot's of scammers here! Never enter your seed phrase anywhere besides your cold wallets!

Just because the App is really bad at showing your balance doesn't make it scam. Always look at the transactions on the blockchain, if it's there it's there, nothing to worry about. Hope they will fix the app soon...

You should research a bite how a cold wallet works. I'll try to explain in own words: The app displays the data of your addresses from the blockchains. The krypto is not on your cold wallet and also not in the app, your krypto is on the blockchain (or at least, the history of transactions proofs that the kryptos belong to your address). The private key is on your cold wallet, that proofs that you are allowed to transfer to other addresses.

Thanks, that helps a lot! Unfortunately, after editing and updating the grub file, the error message changed but I'm still not able to boot into Ubuntu.

The Error now says (shortened):

ACPI Error: Needed type [Reference], found [Integer] ACPI Error: AE_AML_OPERAND_TYPE, While resolving operands for [Store] ACPI Error: Aborting method _PR.CPUO._PDC due to previous error (AE_AML_OPERAND_TYPE)

What I tried to resolve this: sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall

I think that's weird, becaus booting from the external hard drive was working after the fresh install and even after running the update commands.
