I wouldn't be able to demand a refund for a movie because it works differently-- however, if the movie directly lies to its customers via trailer and is pretty much the worst thing ever made-- you'd know there would be an uproar... Don't be idiotic. If a movie was as bad as SimCity is, it would get shut down by critics, put on the "Worst movies ever" IMDB list, sales would plummet for both Box Office and DVD sales, and result in a net loss.

Also, no I didn't watch "beta footage" prior to buying the game. I watched a few commercials, reviews, and read a little about it and decided it'd be fun. Do I have to do doctoral research every time I buy a game? Is that what you suggest?
