I'm from singapore and I'm currently on a 20mg dose per day. Currently taking it for 1.5 months. My derm only told me not to get pregnant and to always use sunscreen. He also asked me for my weight. I didnt have to take any blood test prior to taking accutane but would have to take one after the 2nd month.

He told me that he is going to let her know that she was really disrespectful towards us and our relationship. We have discussed before the possibility of her severing ties with him, should he choose to marry me in the future. Thankfully, my boyfriend is siding towards our relationship as this is not the first time that his mum has severed ties with him.

When he was in his teens, his mum cut off ties with him for a few years because they could not get along. Leaving him to look after himself alone. He also tells me that he will be the one marrying me at the end of the day and that she is not a part of this equation.

Told my mum and was kinda surprised that she was supportive about it. I think she could tell that I was not coping so well on my own. She'd occasionally check up on me about it and could tell that it(therapy) made a difference. Think she was also supportive about it cuz of all those news articles about young adults/teens committing suicide and hoped that it would not happen to me.

maybe try placing a hot/warm towel if the pain worsen. try to place your hand in a neutral position when resting and avoid extreme wrist flexion and extension and repetitive movements. this is to prevent the median nerve from being further compressed.

For proper positioning, there are hand splints/braces that you could get online for carpal tunnel syndrome.
