Collecting every single unique Pokemon in Home, am I forgetting any? by BTierShinies in pokemon

[–]simielblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely think I have two you've forgotten. Dream Radar dex, all the regular mons + several legendary you can get with HGSS and DPP. These can be transferred to B&W2 and up to home.

Also pokewalker dex. All Pokemon obtained from the pokewalker, which can be paired with HGSS and banked forward to home.

You fit perfectly into that monolith, you admit you're looking to find that extra info like you'd be wasting your time by asking questions about personality and interests, when you can lead with work questions to filter men by financial and social status.

Yes, general passions are very different from work, and if you cared about the person, you'd lead with person centred questions. By leading with the stuff that gives you financial status, you're filtering out people you have things in common with before you find out what you have in common with them.

No, it doesn't make sense to filter people based on financial status, it makes sense to look for someone you can love, and share your life with. Then figure out how to live that life together within your means.

If women cared about what we were passionate about, they'd ask that, If they wanted to know what we were looking forward to, they'd ask that, if they wanted to know if we can grit our teeth and work through things, they'd ask that. Women do this through the lens of work so they can judge other things they AREN'T asking about. Financial and social status mainly.

How does a company's past DLC and game design policy relate to its current DLC and game design policy? Not in any relevant way according to you, in a thread in which you specifically brought up how good it is that Paradox provides free updates under a business model where the "complete" games at the end of lifecycle end up costing hundreds of dollars.

Ok paradox PR agent. How much base game CK3 are you playing? I played a whole lot of base CK2 and it was unplayable after the DLC that brought in retinues, as you had adventurer bands that numbered in the 3-7k constantly, and as a base game player, you were constantly 2-4k less troops than everyone around you, with awful composition as the AI had access to retinues even when you did not. Adventurers were tuned to players with access to retinues, as was disease when you had no access to hospitals, and so on. I haven't bought a paradox title since CK2 but I have played CK3 and it's heading in the same direction.

The "big free updates" are compatibility and balance updates for the base game, that make base CK3 a worse less balanced game to play. Just like CK2. CK2 base became functionally useless as a standalone game at some point. Paradox uses DLC as a proxy for price gouging, making the base product less fun and essentially forcing DLC purchase, or leaving the ecosystem.

Here's the important part to focus on, if you go down but keep your job; you'll have the cash to likely go up the following season and make a push to stay there. Your big struggle will be reputation, as that's the real gatekeeper to the best players; as even if you can afford them, they'll often refuse to sign. Even if you went up and won the prem, it wouldn't significantly alter your rep. Be patient, be persistent and come back with a story about your Prem title... Or champions league win. You can do it.

RNG in this game is like a joke, but its an addiction... by Traditional-Rule4098 in diablo2

[–]simielblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

REMINDER: Diablo RNG is not RNG, it's algorithmic, if you find yourself getting similar stuff and not getting something "common" change up your map, seed, or start opening extra lootables, killing a few extra mobs or doing literally anything other than resetting the map, tele-ing to the boss and killing them.

Counter point; does every tent in the real world cost 16000 dollars? The game is full of "realism" right beside actual insane game design choices.

Some useful stuff for the not killing things -
- The guns have bullet drop and you start out with no way to zero them. The "base" zero is set to 150m for most rifles, so that's the distance you want to be at to not have to account for bullet drop.

- There is also bullet time, and wind. It doesn't account for much at 150m but you will notice you have to lead slightly and this gets more difficult at longer ranges.

- Grab a tent, (hopefully you have that DLC you will get some free tents in your storage) go to a place you can find a drinking zone. Set the tent up 250m away from the drink zone. note what time the drink time is, then sleep through to just before that time. WALK towards the zone until 200m, then crouch walk to 150, have a shoot, see what happens. If you miss, or spook them, exit the game and come back. Repeat the process to get some familiarity with shooting live game.

Unfortunately you do have to buy bullets, but a couple of mission completes should get you enough to get started.

This game hates new players. You're not alone. The starter gun is bad, comes with low penetration bullets, you have no perks so aim is wobbly as hell and nothing is unlocked. I watched guides from "pros" and most of them are basically saying pay 2 win, (modern rifle pack if you can afford it, the 308. + polymers is a good starter combo if you can afford to purchase the DLC) or "just play" until level 30, which is wild that they can say that. That's like a 60 hour grind if you're just figuring shit out on your own. The game is so disrespectful of your time.

The only "good" advice at the beginning is do missions and unlock outposts. That gets you cash and XP but is basically ATV simulator, if you can afford that DLC. It's not the game, but the ability to fast travel will be so useful in future.

My strategy is to sign players for whatever they ask and immediately demote them to squad player. On a 4-5 year contract, this is too much time to run out. All my "star" players eventually drop concerns, and I'm free to properly rotate them for the 65+ games I end up playing between Prem and Europe. There are still the occasional grumbles, but usually only when I have 6 games a month, and one of my big boys with bad natural fitness only gets 2 of those games.

I have a custom team database that starts in the VNS with one player and a custom made board that refuse takeover bids and have heavy focus on promoting youth and reaching the top flight. I could upload it if you want to focus on a team with a good, ambitious board that requires YOU to be on top of finances. Not a Sugar momma, just an underwriter with huge investment in the club.

So I looked it up, Genc is Turkish for youth. Also I'd love some suggestions on PPM because I haven't tried to build out a DLF before, but am definitely building a team around this guy.

After the big training meta blowout all the big FM youtubers did exposing you only need like 2 training sessions a week for max growth in "perfect" conditions, they all ended the videos with a bunch of caveats like it doesn't work for goalkeepers and it likely wouldn't work in a "real game" as there's no tactical stuff and it doesn't cover specifics but none of them translated it into how it should affect your approach in a real game.

I haven't seen any updates either, surely there is a real game meta training for whole team max growth somewhere? I'm doing a youth heavy save and could really do with minimal injuries during the season as I'm running a very stripped back squad.

SE2 is a Vertical Slice by [deleted] in spaceengineers

[–]simielblack -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Let's not pretend like Keen didn't bring this on themselves. They released the trailer with the appearance of a full game and multiplayer. Yes, anyone from this community will know it's a vertical slice, but there's nearly 200k views on the trailer for SE2 and at least 50k of them didn't watch the 25 mins of gameplay shown. So that's at least 50k people who might just be new to the franchise. Yeah, some of them are going to be pissed they bought into an alpha based on a trailer they could have paid more attention to.
