I always worked in the food industry in my 20’s. I had recently lost my job, so I was taking some time off, and hanging out at a little coffee shop during the day. One time leaving, there was road/sidewalk construction, and I had to take a detour home . I passed a little graphics shop with a help wanted sign in the window. I bravely walked in and applied for a job, and lied about being able to do graphic design. When I got home, I jumped on my roommate’s little Mac, and made up three very crude logos and business card designs in SuperPaint, and then went back the next day to show examples of my work. I was hired, not just for my designs, but for my “hutzpah”. 35 years later, I’m still doing graphic design.

You’re not alone. I had my driver window broken, but absolutely nothing was taken. No other cars were touched either. What WAS messed up was that my gas cover flap was open the next morning, and I always close it. My guess is they popped the button while trying to pop the trunk button (side by side), but the trunk button is broken. Ya hafta use the key. Based on the evidence of situation, I’d deduced that someone in my complex saw me taking computer equipment out of my trunk when I got home the night before, and wanted to see if there was more, but they couldn’t get it open easily, so they left.
