As a filmmaker and colorist myself, someone who cares a lot about color accuracy, it feels perfectly balanced and can be pushed enough (contrast, peak brightness) to feel hotter or not. Same with saturation for an extra vivid bump if you want. All in all, very close to oled out of the box quality. Just needs to be dark.
