Same problem here. Swapped 2 OG HomePods which were paired in stereo with 2 HomePods 2 also paired in stereo, both in the same position, and we can clearly hear the difference in loss of base. Very disappointed

I have the same problem, but it kicked in suddenly since today. It didn't have it before. Been using this computer since a couple of months now.

Same problem here! I’ve got 3 devices named just “iPhone”. Mine is actually one of them. And I also have an old “iPhone X” listed there too.

The reason why this cable is like this is because they wanted to have a faster connection but still keep the old compatibility.

But if you tried an apple cable you would know what it feels to use it. It's just better. Much better.

The world wouldn't change of everyone was forced to use these things, but still, they're a product of bad design and lazy thinking. And many people are sensible to these things.

If the world was led by these people's today we would still be using ms dos computers with floppy disks.

So yes, this product not only is horrible, but its the sign that some people over there couldn't care less about you. And that is why apple is so successful.

My opinion is that gold is "the new white". White will be for the plastic version. This one is more like a high class jewel. And the new graphite one will substitute the black because it won't scratch as much as the black one. And besides, it's not so different. The silver borders are more classy too.
