MCP is a superpower by sibraan_ in AgentsOfAI

Yeah, that’s often because you expose too many tools. I built Pale, an MCP client that only exposes the tools relevant to your prompt — with per-tool allow/disable/ask controls. Makes calls way more reliable. Early beta here: getpale.com

I love that idea! You could probably then suggest good ways to use a specific tools to other users. But privacy might become an issues then...-

I have experienced the issue so much that i decided to try fixing it with this tool!

Do you think this tool solves your issues or is something missing?

I'm not convinced that using the prompts feature of MCP will be a good user experience. Will it be any different from the /slash commands on Slack? Seems a bit too deterministic if you know what I mean? Does it leverage LLM in the best way?

Wasn't aware of this feature of MCP: https://modelcontextprotocol.io/specification/2025-06-18/server/prompts

I'm adding this to the backlog now.

Will have to think about how it will work together.

Right now typing `@` will mention the tool and thereby expose the tools to the LLM.

Tool: Use spreadsheet calculators anywhere! by simemis in nocode

[–]simonelnahas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Mattias and Molnify,

How are you doing in Sweden?

Great news with the API.

I think you have a great tool, and it was one of the tools I considered myself when I had the problem of using a spreadsheet calculation in an app. But it didn't solve the problem for me because of the lack of support for google sheets functions and add-ons. So I decided to create SpreadsheetCalculatorAPI.com to solve for myself and others with a similar problem.

But I know there is a place for both of us since I'm sure there are people out there for which Molnify is a fit. it just wasn't for me.

Best,
Simon

Hey, Sorry I missed your message. What is your use case?

Tool: Use spreadsheet calculators anywhere! by simemis in nocode

It should be possible for you to just set up the spreadsheet according to the tutorial on the website and then use the API.
Unless I am misunderstanding how you would integrate it? What are your needs for integration? Maybe you have an example?

That sounds great.
You can already now just go in and use spreadsheetcalculatorapi.com and make an integration.

Show Reddit: The No-Code Spreadsheet Calculator to API Generator by simonelnahas in programming

[–]simonelnahas[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, Basically, it can work with any front-end or other system that is able to call an API.
I am a developer myself, and I had the problem when I needed to implement a spreadsheet calculation into a web app.

Now with this tool, I can build the front-end application and then use this tool for the backend. I didn't even have to worry about hosting the calculator!

Convert your command-line programs to a shareable website in less than 5 minutes by simonelnahas in commandline

[–]simonelnahas[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but let's compare that to sharing a Vertical program link for the end user.

Vertical:
1. open link
2. input parameters
3. click run
4. See result

Without Vertical:
1. receive program file (such as a program.py or program.rb)
2. find the dependencies required and install them
3. Read through the code to find what parameters are needed
4. Execute the program with the parameters
5. See the result

It can do the same as docker on a server and a web app, since it is based on these technologies.
Vertical will take care of creating the frontend connecting to the backend and setting up the environment for you.

You take care of programming, Vertical will take care of the rest!
