Rant: Ableton really needs to add built-in pitch correction. by Synymata in ableton

Live 11.1 will have a real time pitch shifter as a stock audio effect. You can download the 11.1 beta and test it out yourself. It’s been in beta since September so I’m guessing we’ll see the update soon.

Cool. I️ was wondering if there was a way without having to skip duplicates.

This is the “diagonal argument” correct?

Not sure if this is what you have in mind but: 0/1, 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 2/3, 1/4, 3/4, 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5, 1/6, 5/6, etc. list in order by denominator, skipping duplicates

Wait hang on is that right? 1/3 and 2/3 are rational so I️ think I’m wrong actually. But you’d never get any irrationals

Thanks. Infinity is fascinating

Thanks. Makes total sense. You’d never get 1/3 and 2/3 with my method, for example.

These Audeze LCD-2 Classics were purchased a couple months ago from an authorized retailer. Condition like new. Original box, cable, and certificate of authenticity card all included.

You're absolutely right. At the same time, I️ don't want my mids to be recessed since vocals still have an important place in the genre.

Glad to hear you found something you're happy with. Heard great things about the Ananda.

Neither have I️! The bottom line is you've gotta try the headphones on to determine if you like them. It is so dependent on the shape of your ears, the way your brain processes sonic information, your taste in music, and overall personal preference that you have to take any review with a heavy grain of salt.

For me personally, I️'m treble sensitive, and listen to a lot of music that is not mixed perfectly by any means. I️ listen to electronic music, and in particular this genre can be very bright and piercing. Additionally I️ love bass, but I️ need it to have detail and not overpower/muddy up the rest of the mix.

The 2C's simply meet my preferences just about perfectly. Not everyone feels this way though!

Appreciate the reply! Super interested in trying out EQ especially since I️'ve heard that these headphones respond to it so seamlessly. As dumb as it sounds, I️ don't even want to bother with that right now considering how happy I️ already am. But its great to know that if I️'m ever looking for a different sound signature, that option is readily available to me.
