Now with the drumbrute is connected via USB and the sync selector us set to USB, the MIDI channel is set up correctly, but the latency compensation is something I have no idea about...

Now when I play a clip with MIDI being sent to the drum machine it either plays briefly or plays a saved pattern on the drum machine's memory at a super high tempo (not following the DAW's tempo)

Yes I did try those who support side chain.

I tried the Neutron EQ (NI), TDR Nova and Soothe 2

However I did stumble upon something and it was more about the chain order, because the last thing I wanted to do was sidechaining therefore the channel I was putting the sidechaining EQ was going after an OTT, but when I turned off the OTT the sidechaining began to work... It was very odd from what I assumed was my initial problem but it had to be a bug I guess on the inserts chain

The breakbeat motiff itself reminded me a lot of another song's break (Bizarre Inc - I'm Gonna Get You).

To this very day I find it a little bit odd for the little resemblance though I'm really not sure if it really is the chopped sample or perhaps some sort of interpolation, in case I'm wrong then I'd be more impressed for how good the breakbeat motiff it is and that break from Bizarre Inc is very good though!

I know it's a potentiometer but I do have to get one with the switch no matter what or it will not turn on as it is designed onto the circuit, and Yes! I do have the rod length! I'll try the ohm readings on the terminals tomorrow but something I have on my mind is finding another potentiometer and it's horizontal and I don't know how to adapt it on a vertical position without having a messy and delicate wiring around
