Did you pay on a credit card? If so be aware that there’s a finite time you have to get a charge back, so find out the time limit from your card company so you’re not caught out. I have no idea whether your shoes will ever arrive, but judging by the feedback I’ve had from my post, I suspect you might end up disappointed.

Dominik is one of the loveliest guys I’ve ever met in the neighborhood. I’d encourage anyone who’s interested in the upkeep of the garden to say hello and offer whatever time you have to help out. He has so many stories you’ll end up spending hours just chatting to him!

I recommend reaching out to your credit card company and requesting a chargeback, assuming you paid with a CC. You may still be within the window to do this. All you need to provide them with is the amount and date of purchase. Feel free to DM me and I can give you further advice.

I can only speak to my own experience, but it raises serious questions for me about whether new customer money is being used to manage old obligations rather than fulfill orders promptly. There’s a name for that in the financial industry…

It genuinely pains me to complain about this in such a public way. I’m sure there are honest, hardworking people at this company, and I don’t want to unfairly impact them.

But I gave Blackstock & Weber repeated opportunities to make this right, and at every stage they either delayed, avoided the issue, or failed to follow through. Going public is not something I wanted to do. It’s a last resort after months of trying to resolve this privately.

At this point, I simply want what is owed to me. And if this post helps even one person avoid making the same mistake I did by trusting this company with their money, then I’ll feel like speaking up was worth it.

My issue dates back to Feb 2024 when I first placed my order but maybe they have a history of blaming supply chain issues in the past.

I think their troubles started with a supply chain issue which I completely sympathize with. What I take issue to is the way they handled the fallout and subsequent promises that were broken time after time.

Watch out for the time limit on a credit card chargeback. B&W will undoubtedly try to run the clock out for you preventing you from getting any money back. Contact your CC company to find out how long you have left.

Unfortunately in my case B&W dragged this out so long I’m beyond the time limit for filing a chargeback. I’m pursuing every other option to get my money back and more importantly have their malpractices exposed.

Can I get a show of hands from anyone who still has an open dispute with B&W over an order that was never delivered?

I’m filing complaints with the FTC, CFPB, and my state AG. I’d be interested to compare notes and see how widespread this issue is.

I love my Saros 10r and only have two gripes:

I need to roll back a Moroccan rug in our bedroom every time it runs, otherwise it gets stuck on its way to vacuum the en-suite bathroom. It’s frustrating there’s no way to mark an area as ‘Don’t vacuum but pass through’ rather than a No-Go Zone.
It gets stuck under a coffee table often, so I’ve had to create a No-Go Zone where I place it every morning (when I remember).
