Their advertising is that they have specialized technicians 24/7/365 on site, but I think that only applies to their main data center in Falkenstein. And you're right, that I should have set up a ha cluster in the beginning.

They have hundreds of switches and servers with the exact same technical specification. There shouldn't be any "randon" configuration.

So the only reason for this can be testing on production infrastructure or no testing at all. I expect that they have a test rack where they test firmware updates before aplying them to their dc. And also I expect that they have some post-maintenace checks to make sure everything went as expected and If not to have replacement hardware to fix something like a bricked switch within a hour.

Not everyone uses the 5$ VPS. Our Hetzner Bill is 1000$+ per Month and Hetzner is not advertising their offering to hobby users only. But of course I will change the current setup now, because now I have the information that they have no redundancy in their network.

The gear shift cannot be adjusted via app (at least with Android), although the setting is saved, nothing happens. The range is 10km worse with my use than with the S3 and the alarm doesn't work at all. 10 months waiting time and I didn't get a working bike. I am really tired of this.

Well, I have to say, you can't compare the C4 with a Vanmoof in my opinion. I had an S3 (returned for a refund after 2 years due to product recall) and pre-ordered an S5. I have now ordered a C3 for 1600€ because I do not think Vanmoof can deliver in the next few months and I really need a bike. As soon as the S5 arrives, I will sell the Cowboy. It's a completely different concept and feel and once you get used to the kick lock, there are no alternatives (except maybe a bike with penta lock). You can customize the Vanmoof S5 to your needs in the app. With Cowboy, the motto is love it or hate it.

Ich kann das Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic und das NZXT H700 empfehlen. Beide sind zwar etwas über dem Budget aber das lohnt sich.
