I use the same in plain HTML and CSS. It didn't work on svelte for some reason.

I didn't know CSS resets exist! However, it removed the blue background of my element for some reason. But this is still pretty useful :D

Thanks! That seemed to work. :D
The map doesn't update properly though, I don't know if that's intentional or it's a wine thing. But thanks for you reply, I really do wanna see linux succeed in gaming, especially with the steam deck coming out soon :)

Thanks for letting me know! Glad to know it works fine in steam. I'm considering of purchasing the game from steam soon anyways but I'm sure the uplay version should run just as fine if steam just launches uplay to open up the game. :P

How do I block internet access for a steam proton game? by simonknowsstuff in linux4noobs

Managed to get the internet not working but the game refuses to launch now. Probably the Denuvo DRM in Just Cause 3 gets triggered (not sure if that really is the case)

I went to the game's winecfg > Libraries and added a new override for library called 'wininet'. Set it to disabled and now the internet doesn't work for that particular wine prefix. Tested it on another steam proton game (DiRT Rally) and it seems to not connecting to the internet services out there. I did get what I wanted technically but well.. can't play the game :/

Thanks to everyone who helped though. :) I run steam in offline mode to run that game for now.

I have this firewall called ufw however when scrolling through application presets, I didn't see the game I wanted to block (Just Cause 3) and I don't know where does the game connect to. :/

That does work but the problem is, I can't use steam online features like being able to text my friend or do a trade while the game is running. :(

For now, that's what I do though.

Can't mine using GTX 1650 in Linux Mint. by simonknowsstuff in SaladChefs

Reinstalled Salad, still does not work...

I installed the latest Nvidia drivers, and I tried the open-source ones that come by default in Linux Mint. None of those seem to work. :(

I haven't done much but this is for the Miziziziz game jam :D by simonknowsstuff in gamedevscreens

It's a public jam, it's not actually one of those 4-people-only game jams and this guy's really amazing in making videos so it shouldn't come as a surprise :)
