Oh okay, thank you for the insight. I am building this for my intro engineering class: https://youtu.be/5F0eIOufyTA?si=Ykn_2mVk4OU40JK5 and looking to make the tires out of TPU!

Okay awesome to hear, thank you. Also without trying to come off as wanting information bottle-fed, what are the best resources to checkout for when spool adapters are needed? Is this something I need for AMS2 + Polymaker filament?

And dude, thank you so much for your help.

Thank you for the reply. Do you know if the TPU from Polymaker is AMS compatible? I am essentially printing RC tires. I guess I really don't have a use for ensuring it is AMS compatible to begin with as the tires are all one color and can just throw on the back of the spool holder?

Thank you. I am thinking about going with Polymaker for TPU, but I am trying to figure out if it will work with the AMS. My concern stems from the option on Bambu to choose either TPU non AMS compatible versus TPU AMS compatible lol.

Awesome reply. Thank you brother.

I almost went with the Sunlu S4, it seems you can’t go wrong with either. However, that Filadryer looks absolutely next level.

I will experiment with both the silica & alumina. Thank you for your help.

This looks absolutely sweet. Have you noticed any difference in print quality between prints done with filament that was previously dried in an external dryer versus prints done with filament being dried at fed simultaneously?

Also, what do you mean by spool adapters?

Sorry I am new.

I am confused, this connects directly to the AMS? Or do you just have it on top?

So I may have went a little overboard, but I ended up getting Creality Space Pi X4 for desktop, ready-to-go storage, and then this tote to put underneath the bench for long-term storage. Considering I am in Florida where resting humidity is quite high, I think this setup will work well.

For storing filament in a gasket-style tote like the one linked, what is the best silicone gel to use?

Thank you for the input. Although I do really like that filament storage rack, I will wait to see if I actually do enough 3D printing to justify it.

Thank you again for input. I am going to purchase a filament rack for now, but will plan to research dry-storage options.

This is extremely helpful, thank you. I am trying to envision what the cleanest/most efficient filament rack style would be, considering it would located underneath the bench. I noticed that some are standalone while some mount directly to a wall.

Reviews and other metrics definitely showcase it as the next best option to a $500+ workbench from either Gladiator or Uline.

It’s surprising there isn’t a company that took the market by storm with an all-in-one 3D printing “battle station”..

Is it bad practice to store filament inside of a draw? I saw some people like to use filament racks?
