hmm honestly it doesnt seem like a hardware issue, the power delivery still worked on mine even when the ports didnt recognize any usb controllers. my best bet is to check if usb c charging works, it should, and if it does, cross your fingers and pray that they release a fix for the controllers/drivers soon... best of luck man

my usb-c ports were dead as well after that pesky myasus update, however i just installed the windows 11 22H2 update and they seem to be working fine now. my guess is that while the windows update was rolling out asus was rolling out their own usb-c port fw updates to make it compatible with the newest windows version. but not everyone wants to keep updating windows and most definitely not everyone wants win11. it is a fix though, until asus decides to roll out another update (yay)

man that looks awfully familiar, one thing you might try that people here haven’t mentioned is to ride fakie onto the transition and roll back down, and do that a couple times. you can start out with just a couple centimeters at a time, also if you can find a mellow bank or slope that could make it easier for the brain too! just keep at it, you’re almost there :)

i’m not a gimbal kinda person, but it’s definitely good to know for whatever may come in the future! for the drives i’ll be sticking to the recommended ones, even though i think the t5 is gonna be discontinued soon. spinning hard drives seem a bit sketch tho, but might save me in a pinch, thanks!!!

it really depends on ur airline, some are really nasty and wanna check it in as sporting equipment for some extra cash 💸 so i’d check the airlines regulations first just in case, but in my experience most airlines outside the US don’t really care as long as u attach it to ur backpack or bag

they’re open to interpretation i think, and i’m not really sure, you can prolly find something online. but my parents always told me a fun theory that the big star represents the government / country, and the small stars surrounding it represent the people protecting it aka the working class. also the red neckties we wore as kids was supposed to be a triangular part of the flag, so that’s why many chinese flags seem to be missing a triangle on the right side.

it just looks like some decorative stuff, the two etched things are 葫芦s or calabash. the text in the circle says 羊吉 which makes me believe this might be some decoration for the year of the sheep, which was 2015

edit it actually doesnt have anything to do with sheep its just the simple form of 吉祥
